How is the library structured?

Your Library is a tree of categories and subcategories that gives you access to your information.  Everything is organized under 6 top categories, which are displayed on your Home page.

Your information may live under multiple categories.  The information is not duplicated; it’s just different ways to access your information.  For instance, the Driver’s License is accessible from 3 different categories in your library.

Some categories are special.  We call them ‘contextual categories’, and they are automatically created by Collect’d AI engine to organize your information in a logical and more natural way.  For instance, ‘person’ or ‘vehicle’ or ‘residence’ or ‘pet’  categories will automatically be created when adding information about these types of ‘things’.  When you access your information through the Library, you will find these special categories under the “By XYZ” tab.
