How to setup Security

1. Setup Face/Touch ID
   • Go in More > My Security Settings
   • Enable the toggle "Using Face ID on this device" (or Touch ID on older devices)
     
     
     
     
   • Note: You must have setup Face ID (or Touch ID) on your device already - see your IOS documentation as needed.
   • The next time you open the app, the setup will be completed and you will be able to log in by simply looking at your device.
     
     
2. Setup a PIN
   • Go in More > My Security Settings
   • Enable the toggle "Enable PIN"
     
     
   • Enter a 6 digits PIN (then confirm the PIN one more time)
   • Once setup, you can either use your biometrics (Face or Touch), or use your PIN to get into your Collect'd account.
     
     
3. Generate and store your Recovery Key
   • Go in More > My Security Settings > Recovery Key
   • Select "Set a new recovery key"
     • If you already have a recovery key, you will see a message to confirm.  When you create a new recovery key, it invalids the previous one, which means you cannot use it anymore.  You can only use the most recent recovery key.  Please make sure to delete the previous ones to avoid confusion.
       
       
   • Make sure to Print and store the key somewhere safe (e.g.,safe deposit box, home safe).
   • You can also Save the key as a PDF and store the digital file somewhere safe - but make sure no one else can access that file.
   • You should test your Recovery Key once in a while to make sure you remember where you stored it. Collect'd will remind you occasionally.
