You can upload files directly from your iPhone. There are 2 ways to do this:
- Use the Upload File from the + menu (this article)
- From the Files application or any cloud storage applications (like DropBox, Drive or others). See Import Files.
How to Upload Files
- Tap on the big + from the main navigation and select "Upload File"
- Select the option desired (from Camera Roll or from Files).
- If you chose "Browse Files", the IOS file browser will open. By default, it opens the iCould Drive folder. If you store your information on iCloud, you should be able to browse from there and select the file to upload.
- If your file is in a different location, like Dropbox, Google Drive or other cloud storage applications, you can tap on "Browse" at the top of the screen or in the menu bar at the bottom. You then get the list of Locations available on your device. You can select any location, then browse to the file you want to Upload.
- Once the file is selected, you are back in Collect'd.
- Collect'd AI will try to automatically detect what type of information you are adding.
- Collect'd AI is still learning and may get this wrong. In that case, tap "No" and you can select what type of information you are adding. Note that if Collect'd AI doesn't have enough confidence on what it is, you will see the next screens automatically to ask you to specify the type of information you are adding.
- If you cannot find the right information type from the list when you search, please refer to "Adding a Custom Information".
- Once you selected the information type, tap "Confirm" to add the information. Collect'd AI engine will automatically extract and organize the information, set reminders if needed, and encrypt the information so only you can access the information. Once ready to review, you will receive a notification to review the information.
